The Moufflons Invitational Basketball Camp’s inaugural 2012 edition, 25-30 June, welcomes you to Glafkos Kleridis Athletic Center in Agros. The camp’s mission is to provide an environment where young athletes gain tools to further their careers in basketball, by developing and reinforcing both fundamental skills and team spirit, as well as to offer knowledge of how to achieve life and health balance off the court.
Campers will go over selected technical elements necessary in 1-on-1 play, both defensively and offensively, technical-tactical elements necessary for cooperation of two players and cooperation of three and four players offensively.
The camp directors Nemanja Bjedov and Vladimir Zarić, who have among themselves more than 30 years of playing and 10 years of coaching experience, will execute daily schedules and activities together with their well selected staff.
The camp consists of basketball practices, games, contests, instructional lecturers, awards ceremony, photo and autograph opportunities and meet the sponsors sessions. Each camper will receive a Camper’s Set on the first day of the camp and before the first practice session. The Camper’s Set apart from standard t-shirt and reversible jersey and shorts will include some special surprises.
The camp's goal is to help youth learn the productive mechanisms of team sports such as discipline, cooperation, work ethics, setting goals ahead and establishing moral values. The camp’s agenda is also to emphasize the importance of maintaining a positive attitude and saying no to all the vice. The establishment of these core values help translate and enhance a sense of high self-confidence among children.
Basketball wise, this camp represents a great opportunity to be ready for the next level of competition. In order to get as much knowledge as possible across, the ratio of coaches to campers is approximately one to ten.
